Obituary

Michael 'Mike' Craig Foster, 47, of Firth, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

Mike was born on August 3, 1973, in Harbor City, California to Clifford Gerald and Sandra Gayle Allen Foster. He grew up in Firth and graduated from Firth Highschool in 1991.

In 2000, he met Juliette Van Orden and they moved to Washington where they lived for 14 years. On August 6, 2011, they were married in Des Moines, Washington. In 2014, they moved back Firth.

Mike loved to hike, go biking, doing woodworking, welding, and muscle cars. Mike was a great welder and he did hollow metalwork in Washington. He prided himself in his work. He loved his family above all and enjoyed spending time with them and his dog, Star. He will be remembered by his family as a funny, loving, and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Juliette; his daughter, Jordan Bruce of Utah; stepson, Emit D. Waters; grandma, LaDonna Taylor; brother, Steven Foster; nephews: Dustin Foster, Anthony Foster, and Mikel Townsley; parents-in-law, Richard (Susan) VanOrden; brother-in-law, Chad (Cheri) VanOrden; sisters-in-law: Camille Meyers and Krystal VanOrden (Seth Wallman) all of Idaho; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Trevor Foster; Grandfathers: Bob Taylor and Claince Foster; and grandmother, Alice Foster.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the West Bank Convention Center, 525 River Parkway, Idaho Falls. Cremation is under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
