Michael Lawnie Hooker, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia.

Mike was born on March 12, 1965, to Lawnie Wayne Hooker and Lacy Ann Moore Hooker in Idaho Falls. He grew up in Pocatello and attended Pocatello High School. Eventually, Mike moved to Idaho Falls. He worked for Domino's Pizza and loved his job.

He loved playing D&D (Dungeons and Dragons), and Magic the Gathering. He collected dice and figurines, as well as Magic the Gathering cards.

Michael had an amazingly cheerful attitude and was so generous to everyone. He was sassy and loved to tease people. He said he had a wonderful life.

Mike is survived by his grandmother, Norma Pasley of Pocatello, Idaho; his father, Lawnie Wayne Hooker of Ecuador; his sister, Marci Arnee` (Ken) Frerichs of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his brother, Russell Hooker; his niece: Chante` Marie Frerichs of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his aunt, Nancy Ellis of Chubbuck, Idaho; and his step-mother, Elaine (Dan) Lucas of Boise, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura May Hooker; his grandfather, Lawnie Howell; and his mother, Lacy Ann Moore.
