Mildred Dorothea Pocock White, passed away in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on June 1, 2017, at Turtle and Crane, under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice, at the age of 95.

She was born on December 14, 1921, in Burley, Idaho on her parent's farm.  She was the fifth of eight children of Silas Archibald Koyle and Johannah Johnson.

She married Lloyd Stanley Pocock on April 8, 1943, in the Salt Lake Temple.  They came to Idaho Falls in 1949, and raised their three children here. She was employed at the First Security Bank for many years as a Teller until her retirement. Lloyd passed away in 1990.  In 2000, she married Roy White of Spanish Fork, Utah where they lived until his passing in 2010.

She enjoyed golf, handwork, genealogy, water skiing and her many friends from the "bank."  She was responsible for finding and connecting thousands of relatives through her diligent genealogy research.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and in 1987 she and Lloyd served a mission to the South Carolina Columbia Mission.

She is survived by her three children, Gary (Chris) Pocock of Provo, Utah; Kent (Sondra) Pocock of Meridian, Idaho and Marsha (Bob) Jackson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 16 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.  Surviving also are her two sisters, Blanche (Dean) Simmons and Bliss (Keith dec.) Anderson and one brother, Dean (Marilyn) Koyle.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Lloyd S. Pocock and Roy White; her parents, three brothers, Eldon, Rodney, and Wells Koyle, and one sister, Doris.

The family wish to express gratitude to the staff at Turtle and Crane and Encompass Home Health and Hospice, for their skilled and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, June 17, 2017, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com
