Obituary

Mindy Jolene Dansie Jeppson Stucki, 64, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She returned to her Heavenly Father's arms Tuesday, May 29, 2018, following a struggle with cancer.

Mindy was born on March 9, 1954, to LaVar and Thelma Ermile Dansie in California, she was raised in the Antioch area.

While attending Ricks College in Rexburg she met James Kay Jeppson. They were sealed in the Oakland California Temple April 14, 1978. After completing her bachelor's degree in education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah they moved to California. There they raised four amazing sons: Trenton James, Jordan Ty, Colter Seth, and Britton Cade.

While being a full-time mom she worked in various capacities at many different schools.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings. One of her favorites being a worker in the temple. She was heavily involved in the Scouting program.

Mindy and Jim and their family started a softball league for the special needs children. Her family also enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students from Japan. Mindy loved to travel and was a chaperone for several High School trips overseas.

After almost 20 years of marriage Jim passed away in an accident on November 8, 1997. After the boys graduated high school, Mindy moved back to Idaho to be close to family. She loved spending time with her Jeppson family doing crafts, quilts, and camping. Mindy also enjoyed art, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In 2012, she started dating Gary Stucki of Coltman, Idaho. They were married on June 14, 2014 in Idaho Falls. There they lived and enjoyed being around and involved with their grandchildren. They also enjoyed going on drives, camping, attending performances and volunteering as ushers for the Idaho Falls Arts Council.

Mindy was proceeded in death by her husband, Jim; her mother, Ermile; her two fathers-in-law: Kay L. Jeppson, and Roger W. Stucki.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Stucki of Idaho Falls; her children: Trent (Amy) Jeppson and their 6 children, of Idaho Falls; Ty Jeppson of California; Colt (Lucy) Jeppson and their 3 children, of Idaho Falls; Britt Jeppson and his girlfriend Amy Simmons, of New Hampshire;  Casey (Josh) Quiroz and their daughter of Iona; Christie (Joey) Call and their 3 children, of Blackfoot; Sami (Scott) Tureman their 3 children, of Idaho Falls; Doug (Tenille) Stucki and their 3 children of Layton, Utah; and her mothers-in-law: Luella Jeppson of Rexburg and Donna Stucki of Coltman; her father, LeVar and sister Sherri of California.

At Mindy's request no funeral services were held. She was buried on May 30, 2018, next to James Jeppson in the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Madison County, Idaho.
