Morris Albert Sedies, 69, of Idaho Falls, died Friday, August 17, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of his family and Alliance Home Health and Hospice.

Morris was born on February 4, 1949, to Leon and Alice Williams Sedies in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.

On June 10, 1976, he married Marilyn Kay Walker in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union three children were born: Lynda, Richard and Alicia.

He worked as a RadTech at the INL, then went into Environmental Testing. He moved to Issaquah, Washington where he was a Team Lead with Target. He retired from there and moved back to Idaho Falls.

He was a Catholic.

Morris was many things: Loving father, grandfather and top of the pile—Husband. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sedies; his children: Lynda Havens of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Richard (Cadie) Sedies of Coos Bay, Oregon and Alicia (Brian) Williams of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his brother, Harry (Sue Ellen) Sedies; his sister, Kathy (Keith) Wilson; and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alice and Leon Sedies and a brother, Richard Sedies.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
