Myles Lynn Harkness, 71, of Roberts, passed away from natural causes on Tue, May 26, 2015 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. He was born on April 27, 1944 in Rigby to Earl and Marcia Harkness. He was raised and attended schools in Roberts. In 1968 he married Dale Anne Mondy, they were later divorced. He married Phyllis Lorene Steele on Nov 26, 1971, they were later divorced. Myles served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1967. He was a truck driver for Idaho Asphalt, LP Propane and other various businesses. He retired from Taylor Farms after 14 years of employment in 2009. His hobbies included; drafting house and boat plans, camping, horseback riding, shooting, logging firewood, reading his bible and being a cowboy. Myles is survived by daughters Angela Wilsey of San Francisco, California, Staci (Alan) Nash of Benton City, Washington, Karrie Barney of Ogden, Utah, Melissa (Thomas) Berrett of Roberts, Idaho, Heidi (Dustin) Reeder of Firth, Idaho, a son Ethan (Rebecca) Harkness of Roberts, Idaho, brothers Robert (Dixie) Harkness, Gale (Shirley) Harkness, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceeded in death by daughter Heather Rae Harkness, his parents, brother Richard Wayne Harkness, sisters Patty Raymond and Dorothy Messick. Myles was a man who loved to laugh and joke around, he will be dearly missed by his family. Memorial Services will be held at Roberts Community Church, 637 N 2872 E, Roberts, ID 83444, Friday, June 5 , 2015 at 12:00 P.M.
