Obituary

Naida J. Guzman, 70, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 3, 1938, in Walsenburg, Colorado, to Fred Montoya and Epifania Vigil Montoya. She grew up in Montana.

On November 10, 1956, she married Philip Guzman Sr. In Billings, Montana. He died June 20, 2000.

She was a member of the Catholic Church.

She was a wrestling fan and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Naida was very dedicated to her children, extended family and her friends.

She is survived by the following: daughters: Tammy "TJ" (Edward) Meyer of Vacaville, California; Pam (Travis) Perkins of Pocatello; Sonja (Steve) Hall of Idaho Falls; step-son, David Guzman of Billings, Montana; daughter-in-law, Joy Guzman of Pocatello; grandchildren: Melanie, Andy, Marc, and Aaron Guzman; Renae Graham and Daniel Graham, of Pocatello; Mercedes (Sadie) Hall of Idaho Falls; Robert (Jamie) Guzman and Marty (Ann) Guzman both of Billings, Montana; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Philip Guzman Jr, and a great-granddaughter, Kyra Guzman.

Memorial services will be at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, corner of 9th St. and Lee with Father Joe MacDonald officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St, in Idaho Falls.
