Nancy L. Jarvis passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 25,2012. Nancy was born in New London,Connecticut on April 15,1936. She was one of three daughters born to Michael and Agnes Sullivan.It was a very happy childhood that they shared together growing up in Connecticut. One summer Nancy met the man who was to become the love of her life, Don Jarvis Sr. On July 3rd 1954, Nancy and Don exchanged vows and became husband and wife at St. Marys Catholic church in New London,Connecticut. In the year 1962 Nancy and Don moved to Idaho Falls,Idaho where they raised their three children. Nancy enjoyed being a stay at home Mom,and loved to bake during the afternoons. On many occasions her children would come home from school to the delightful smell of home baked goodies. We all remember the wonderful smells coming from her kitchen. Nancy was employed when she lived in Connecticut as a sample clerk for The Sheffield Company.Upon moving to Idaho,and after raising her children,Nancy was employed at various potato warehouses.Nancy was a very hard working dedicated worker,and received many compliments from various bosses over the years as having a "going the extra mile" attitude. It was also during this period of Nancy's life that she met many people who became very close to her.They remained very close and she will be greatly missed by all the lives that she touched. Nancy would brag later on during her life about the joy that surrounded her as she became a loving Grandmother to her three Grandchildren.She spent a great deal of time doting on each and every one of them and never forgot any birthday or holiday that would give her a reason to spoil them even more. Nancy is survived by one sister,Mary Firmin of East Lyme,Connecticut,her loving children,Dr.Don Jarvis Jr.of Laramie,Wyoming,Mike Jarvis of Idaho Falls,Idaho,Debbie (Gary) Peebler of Menan,and her loving Grandchildren Brandon Peebler of Rostock,Germany,Nicole Peebler of Boise,Idaho,and Charlie Jarvis of Laramie,Wyoming. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents,one sister,Beverly,and most sadly the recent passing of her loving husband Don Jarvis Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday,May 29,2012 at Coltrin Mortuary 2100 E. 1st Street Idaho Falls,Idaho from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
