She was born Sept. 29, 1932, in Houston, Texas to George B. Greene and Melissa "Maureen" MacRoberts Greene. The family moved to Omaha, Nebraska while she was still a baby. She grew up in Omaha and spent the summers on the farm in Iowa. She attended North High School in Omaha and after she was married she earned her GED.
On August 18, 1949, she married Donald K. Rodenbough in Denver, Colorado. They were later divorced. On June 25, 1977, she married Larry Lindsay in Denver. She worked for the State of Colorado Highway Safety Council and Dept. of Tourist Development. She retired after 30 years of service. She worked as an executive secretary for the Director of Tourism and loved promoting her state and its many beautiful areas. She was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church. She attended Epiphany Episcopal Church in Denver and in Idaho Falls she was active in St. Luke's Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild.
She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and served as President for 2 years.
She loved to read and travel.
She is survived two daughters, Laura (Richard) Wells of Firestone, Colorado, and daughter, Nancy (Bruce) Berhow of Huber Heights, Ohio; two sons, Donald (Debra) Rodenbough Jr. of North Ogden, Utah, and Stephen (Kim) Rodenbough of Denver, Colorado; two step-sons, Scott Lindsay of Phoenix, Arizona, and Patrick Lindsay of Leadville, Colorado; her sister, Georgia Greene of Aurora, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 270 Placer Ave. with Mr. Les Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Sheridan, Colorado at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity or to the Idaho Falls Community Food Bank.
