She was born Feb. 15, 1945, to Clarence Melvin Cleverley and Ethlyn Heaton Cleverley. She grew up in Shelton as the youngest of 4 children. She attended Bonneville High School where she met the love of her life, Dick Quinton. They were married shortly after her graduation in 1963.
Dick and Nancy have 2 children, David and Jodi, who were both raised in Idaho Falls and Iona. Her greatest joy besides her own children, were her grandchildren who she loved and cherished.
She worked as a bookkeeper in the Idaho Falls area, most recently at Forde Johnson Oil Company and for Dick and Dave's paving business. She was able to see many parts of the United States while traveling on construction jobs with Dick.
Nancy loved working on crafts, planting a beautiful vegetable garden and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Dick Quinton of Idaho Falls; Children: David (Debbie) Quinton of Idaho Falls and Jodi (Steve) Metzger of Pueblo, Colorado; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Kay (Bobra) Cleverley of Glendale, Arizona, Jack Cleverley of Idaho Falls, and Sheryll (Larry) Despain of Blackfoot.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary and on Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
