Nancy Allen Wade, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1940, in Riverdale, Utah, to Myron Elmer Allen and Margaret Ann Bambrough Allen. She was the 3rd of 4 children. She grew up in Riverdale, Utah, until 1949, when her family moved to Idaho Falls. She attended Emerson, O.E. Bell Junior High and Idaho Falls High School Class of 1958. She married the love of her life, Patrick Lewis Wade, in Idaho Falls on August 7, 1956. Nancy worked as a stay at home Mom for many years. After the kids were older, she worked at Kents and the City of Idaho Falls. She retired from the city in August 2012. Nancy and Pat also served as camp hosts at Blacktail for three years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nancy loved any activity that included family and friends. She enjoyed camping, golf, bowling, playing cards and games, and was an avid reader. She was an awesome cook and gracious hostess. She is survived by: Husband, Pat Wade of Idaho Falls Daughter, Terri (Kevin) Sommer of Honolulu, Hawaii Son, Bobby (Mary) Wade of St Paul, Minnesota Daughter, Kathy Wade of Idaho Falls Son, Nick (Betsy) Wade of Jerome, Idaho Son, Rick (Melissa) Wade of Idaho Falls Brother, Scott (Dawna) Allen of Idaho Falls Brother Dean (Shirley) Allen of Ogden, Utah 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gerald Jonathan Allen. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
