Naomi Ann "Tyla" Hoogs died peacefully at home the morning of April 20, 2018, of a cardiac event, with her ever-devoted service dog, Gir, by her side.

Naomi was welcomed at home by her family on October 1, 1991.  She grew up and attended local schools in Idaho Falls.  She enjoyed camping and fishing, activities with her friends, and traveling to see extended family.

She had a great love for all animals, especially dogs.  She raised and trained several service dogs for herself, and loved to lend a helping hand to friends in training their dogs.  She was an amazing artist and loved trying different mediums.  Her favorite were charcoals, inks, and oils, and of course her favorite subjects were her pets, and she enjoyed drawing for her friends.

Naomi is survived by her parents: Russell and Cheri Hoogs; her sisters: Sarah (Brandon) Crume and Rachael (Joe) Rickey, her three nieces and three nephews, and her service dog, Gir, all of Idaho Falls.

As she would have preferred, there will be no funeral services.  A private family gathering will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
