Omar Arias, 19, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Omar was born on October 18, 2001, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Gerardo Arias and Patricia Soria. He grew up in Idaho Falls. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in May 2020.

He was a member of the Catholic church.

Omar worked for Lewis Siding and Fencing. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job.

He enjoyed playing soccer, football, frisbee golf, and taking pictures of nature. He loved to be outside. His most enjoyable moments were those spent with his friends and family. Omar was a hardworking and respectful young man who was full of life with big goals and dreams.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Jesus Villa) Soria; his father, Gerardo (Margarita) Arias; his sister, Cesilia (David Deleon) Arias; his brothers: Gerardo Arias Jr. and Isaac Villa all of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Exiquia Soria, and his great-grandfather, Jesus Soria.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2020, and on Thursday one hour prior to services both at Coltrin Mortuary.
