Patricia Love Morse, 77, passed away on August 30, 2017 at home with her loved ones. She was under the care of her family and Hands of Hope Hospice.
Pat was born on April 22, 1940, to John Hugh Love, Sr. and Veda Mae Ringle Love in a small white farm home in LaBelle, Idaho. She was the youngest of five children. She grew up in LaBelle and in her Senior Year of high school, moved to Bountiful, Utah. She graduated from Bountiful High School in 1958.
After graduation from High School, she attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her first job was with the LDS Genealogical Society where through an acquaintance she eventually met her husband.
Pat married Keith Hatch Morse on June 30, 1959, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They were sealed together for eternity by Joseph Fielding Smith. They enjoyed 58 wonderful years of marriage.
Pat enjoyed making friends and raising her family with Keith as they moved to various locations such as Salt Lake City UT, Santa Clara CA, and Tumwater WA.
Along with the joys of raising a family, Pat was just as enthusiastic about spiritual matters as those in mortality. She has a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Eternal Father. She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many ward and stake positions in Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society. She also served as an Ordinance Worker in the Idaho Falls Temple.
She enjoyed seeing the country and Gods creations and loved outings with her family to the many state and national parks in Washington State. Of special interest was her love for birds and she always did everything she could to look after them regardless of the time of year.
She also loved doing genealogical research and had assembled a family database containing over 30,000 names. She was an avid reader and had a great imagination and enjoyed several types of entertainment. She loved watching "Murder She Wrote" as well as enjoying the music of her life especially her ancestor's Scottish music.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother John Hugh Love Jr. and two sisters Virgie Rose & Bonnie Rae Love.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; daughters: Pamela Morse of Renton, Washington and Suzanne Rivero of Oceanside, California; two sons: Anthony (Tony) Morse of Renton, Washington and Lorin (Angela) Morse of Idaho Falls; Pat has one surviving sister Margaret Free of Rigby, ID; she has seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Lincoln LDS Stake Center, 2545 Mesa Street, Idaho Fall s. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
