Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Jean Schaefer Pressburg, passed away January 7, 2026, at MorningStar Senior Living in Ammon, ID, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Pat was born July 30, 1941, to Howard Forrest Schaefer and Gladys Roberta Agnew in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in Denver and graduated from Denver West High School in 1959. Pat attended Hollywood Beauty College in Denver and graduated in May 1961.

Only three weeks after meeting Raymond (Ray) Allen Pressburg, the two were married on September 3, 1966, in Aurora, Colorado. They maintained a loving and supportive marriage for more than 59 years. Together they raised two children: a daughter, Kimberly (Ryan Gaudreau) Roberts of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and a son, Kelly W. Pressburg of Starke, Florida. Pat was a dedicated and loving grandmother, helping raise her three Colorado-born grandchildren: Taylor Roberts of Firth, Idaho; Justin Roberts of Firth, Idaho; and Jordan Roberts of Lakewood, Colorado.

For the first 26 years of marriage, Pat was a loving and dedicated Air Force wife, receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Air Force upon Ray's retirement in 1981.

Pat loved gardening and decorating her home, as was evident through her gorgeous gardens and beautifully decorated house in Littleton, Colorado, where she and Ray lived from 1986 until March 2024. Pat was an avid fan of both movies and attending live plays, and she also loved reading, sewing, and crafts. Pat enjoyed traveling and exploring with her husband, and one of her most treasured trips was to Germany, where she visited the Hummel Factory in Bavaria. Pat had an extensive Hummel collection that she displayed in her home with pride.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Howard Schaefer, in 2023. Pat is survived by her husband, Raymond Pressburg; her daughter, Kimberly (Ryan Gaudreau) Roberts of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her son, Kelly Pressburg of Starke, Florida; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Private Family services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to www.coltrinmortuary.com.
