Patricia Jean Wight, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Parkwood Meadows, surrounded by her loving family. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.

Patricia was born on March 22, 1940, in Provo, Utah, to J. Monte and Maxine Tucker Wight. She grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming, and graduated from Pinedale High School in 1959.

On October 10, 1959, she married Robert S. Lawrence in Pinedale, Wyoming. Together they had 2 children. They were later divorced.

Patricia lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Lancaster, California. She lived at Fairwinds with her mother, Maxine. Following Maxine's passing, she moved to Parkwood Meadows.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Patricia was a talented seamstress. She knitted countless blessing dresses and sweaters for newborn babies.

She was loved by many people, she had a big heart and would always do her best to help and comfort those in need.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Wade (Margaret Ellen) Lawrence, of Noblesville, Indiana; her daughter, Karen Maria (J.R.) Ruggerio, of Lake Havasu, Nevada; her grandsons: Monte Arnstam, of New York, New York, George Seldon Lawrence, of Noblesville, Indiana; her granddaughters: Vivian Ann Lawrence, of Fishers, Indiana, and Rose Marie Lawrence, of Noblesville, Indiana; her brothers: Gary (Pamela) Wight, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and George (Liz) Wight, of Peoria, Arizona; her sister, Kathy (Dennis) Marsden, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and 17 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monte and Maxine Wight and her brother, Ronald Monte Wight.

Graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Pinedale, Wyoming under the direction of Bishop Dennis Cramer. A private family service was held on March 9, 2016, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
