Peggy Gerard Briggs passed away in her home on December 26, 2019, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at the age of 66. Peggy was born on June 21, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Kenneth and Edna Gerard. She grew up in Iona and attended Bonneville High School. She worked at Riverview Hospital in the cafeteria and loved to help people.

She married her eternal companion, William Jess Briggs, on May 3, 1975, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they had four daughters, Amy, Debi, Jessica, and Hollie, fulfilling her dream of always wanting to be a mom. The only thing better than being a mom was becoming a Grandma to her two beautiful grandchildren, Paisley and William. They became her whole world and they brought her so much joy. She loved working at the daycare her daughters owned and becoming everyone's Grandma.

Peggy cherished her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout the years, always serving the people around her.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Amy Briggs, Debi Briggs, Jessica Briggs, Hollie (Mathew) Demitropoulos; her grandchildren, Paisley and William Demitropoulos; her mother, Edna Gerard; brothers, Kenneth Craig (Janna) Gerard, Steven Douglas (Linda) Gerard, Jack Reece (Melinda) Gerard; sister, Sally (Dave) Louk; and brother-in-law, David Briggs.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, William Jess Briggs; her father, Kenneth Douglas Gerard; sister Kendi Fullmer.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2019, at Iona Cemetery.
