Phillip Bruce Brinton, 38, passed away on December 27, 2018, in Idaho Falls, Idaho while surrounded by family and loved ones. Phillip was born June 16, 1980, to Sandra Virgin Brinton and Bruce Dee Brinton in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He grew up in Ammon, ID and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1998. Phillip served a 2 year LDS mission in Charleston, West Virginia. He married Alexis Ruth Perry in 2002 (later divorced) and was privileged and survived by 3 boys: Kohl, 15; Koy, 12; and Krew, 8.
Phillip was full of life. He had a charismatic and infectious personality that drew people in to his kind and helpful heart. Phil was always willing to help and befriend all who surrounded him. He enjoyed being a role model and sharing his life experiences to try to help others find their path. He founded the Idaho Falls Amputee group to try to help and inspire others to find strength and positivity in the face of trial. Phillip was a loving father who enjoyed fishing with his boys, working with technology, and surrounding himself with new opportunities.
Phillip was survived by Sandra Virgin Brinton, mother; Bruce Dee Brinton, father; Miranda Egan, sister, (Billy); Margo Sensabaugh, sister, (JJ); Patrick Brinton, brother, (Nicole); Megan Harper, sister, (Landry).
Funeral services will be held January 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Ammon Stake Center, 2055 S. Ammon Rd., Ammon, Idaho 83406. There will be a family greeting from 10:00-10:45 a.m., prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at Ammon Cemetery.
