Phyllis Ann Moad, 82, of Iona, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. She was under the care of Enhabit Hospice.

Phyllis was born on August 6, 1940, to Phil and Rosa Knowles in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She grew up in Iona attending school there and graduating from Bonneville High School in 1959. She attended Vogue Beauty College and earned a certificate in Cosmetology.

On June 30, 1965, Phyllis married Roy B. Moad. To this union, four sons were born. Phyllis and Roy later divorced.

Phyllis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, camping, and crocheting. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a huge fan of game shows on TV and loved Elvis Presley. She worked various jobs during her time with us and retired from Melaleuca after about twenty years.

She is survived by her sons: Mike Moad of Idaho Falls, Jeff (LaDawn) Moad of Iona, Rod (Brandy) Moad of Idaho Falls, and Jason Moad of Idaho Falls; her brothers: Art (Joyce) Knowles of Iona, and John (Sandee) Knowles of Iona; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Phil and Rosa Knowles; her sister, Connie Knowles, and her daughter-in-law, Lori Moad.
