Rafe Ellis Deurmeier, son to Justin and Krissa Deurmeier, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at University of Utah Hospital.

From the moment we found out we would be blessed with this sweet baby boy, we loved him and have been excited to bring him into our family. We have so much joy thinking of baby Rafe, even now as he is no longer physically with us. We have already felt his spiritual presence and feel blessed to journey through this life with his sweet spirit near to us and watching over his big brother, Berrett. We love you, Rafe. We will see you again in the Eternities and will be snuggling you close in our dreams until then.

Rafe is survived by his parents, Justin and Krissa Deurmeier of Rigby; his brother Berrett; his grandparents: Tad and Paula Hegsted of Rigby, John and Becky Deurmeier of Morongo Valley, CA; his great grandmother, Shirley Young, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at Grant Central Cemetery at 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 16, with bishopric from Rigby 5th ward officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
