Randy Taylor Fitch, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Randy was born on October 23, 1957, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Gail Robert Fitch and Joan Louise Webster Fitch. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School and Associate of Applied Science Electric Service Technical School.

In July 1976, Randy joined the United States Navy and served as Petty Officer 2nd Class. He worked as a Teletype repair and system trainer technician. He was honorably discharged in July 1980.  He worked at Litton Guidance and Control Systems while living in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also worked for the U.S. Census Bureau and spent the last 20 years working at Melaleuca.

He enjoyed comic books, drawing, reading, and ceramic repair. Randy was a kind-hearted man of few words who took care of his family above all else.

Randy is survived by his brothers: Rob Fitch of Gladstone, Missouri, and Bill (Deb) Fitch of Rigby, Idaho; his niece, Soncia (Ayden Quintero) Alvarez of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and his nephew, Jason (Michelle) Fitch of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joan and Gail Fitch; his sister, Cindy Ozorco; and his sister-in-law, Peggy Fitch.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery, where military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.  A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., prior to the graveside service at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
