IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymundo
Herrera Jr.
December 5, 1976 – December 2, 2025
Raymundo (Ray) Herrera Jr. passed away with his loving family beside him on December 2, 2025. Ray was born on December 5, 1976, in Brigham City, Utah, to Raymundo Herrera and Versa (Tuck) Herrera.
He loved his family with his whole heart. He loved to cook and was always willing to teach anyone his knowledge on cooking. Ray loved the outdoors and camping. He especially loved combining all three (Family, cooking, and outdoors), but he was most passionate about his kids.
To know Ray, you knew that being a father to his son, Ray, and his daughter, Delilah, was truly his greatest joy in life. You knew the way he lit up when he spoke so proudly about his kids and all the activities they were into and all that they were accomplishing with the biggest smile on his face.
You knew that Ray always had love and respect for Jessica, the mother of his children. He only spoke kind words about her; he loved her and was thankful for the life they had together, and for the life they still shared with their kids as family and friends.
You knew as a cousin that you always had a friend, that he would do anything he could for you, that you’d always get a hug and a laugh, followed by, I love you, cuz.
You knew you were a homie for life; he truly cherished his friends and called them his family. Ray would do anything he could to help anyone, whether it be a friend or a stranger in need; he had a big heart.
You know he loved his mom with his whole heart. Ray knew he was blessed with his mom; he always gave her such love and respect; she was the rock in his life.
You knew he loved his grandparents, aunts, and uncles because he always gave them hugs, told them he loved them, and always showed them respect.
Ray also had a special love in his heart for his fur baby, Athena. She brought light to his life; she was his little baby, he truly loved her, and Athena loved her daddy.
We can only imagine Ray’s reunion after all these years, walking up to his dad and wrapping their arms around each other.
Ray is survived by his mother, Versa Tuck Herrera; his son, Raymundo Herrera III; his daughter, Delilah Herrera; and his fur baby, Athena.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raymundo Herrera; his grandmother, Lorena Tuck; grandfather and grandmother, Manuel and Dora Herrera.
Don't cry because I am gone, smile because I was here.
Fill your life with love, and laughter, and faith.
It was my time to leave, but it is your time to live.
Someday we will be together again, but until then,
Know that I am in your heart, and your happiness will bring me peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2026, at the Eagle’s Lodge in Brigham City. Cremation was under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
