Reta Glenn Pinder Savage 1920 ~ 2006 Our beloved mother and grandmother Reta Savage passed away peacefully on Sunday Dec. 3, 2006. She was born on March 7, 1920 in Paradise, Utah to Howard Glenn and Effie Obray Glenn. She grew up in Hansel Valley and Tremonton, Utah. She attended Bear River High School. Reta was married to Theron Tom Pinder and had two children. They later divorced. She then married Kenneth Max Savage on November 25, 1969. Reta and Ken loved to travel around the world. They loved to dance and were members of the High Steppers dance club. They enjoyed bowling and playing bridge. She worked for many years as a florist and had a great love for flowers. Reta created beautiful arrangements that cheered the hearts of many. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many positions. Reta's life was one of loving, giving, and serving her family and others. Her husband and family were the most important things in her life. Ken was the love of her life and he took great care of her through many years of illness. Together Reta and Ken loved their children and grandchildren and especially their great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken. Reta is survived by her children, Glenn (Georgie) Pinder of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Patricia Provost, Max (Teri) Savage, Sue (Bruce)Sakashita; brother Halvor Glenn; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 8, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 Highland Drive). Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on Thursday December 7, 2006 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. or one hour prior to the funeral service.
