Richard C. Barney Sr., 75, returned to his heavenly home, in his sleep, the afternoon of July 11, 2016.

Richard was born at home on February 10, 1941, to his loving parents, Leroy and Mildred "Millie" Cluff Barney, in Sugar City, Idaho. He graduated from Madison High School in 1957.

He met his sweet wife, Frances, in Toledo, Ohio. They were married in 1957 in National County, California. He serviced in the United States Navy from 1957-1967.

Richard was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sealed to his wife, Frances, after her passing for time and eternity in 2015.

He was welcomed on the other side by his first born, Ricky, who passed in 1969 and his loving wife, Francis, who passed in 2014.

He will be greatly missed by all including his seven children: Mary, John, Linda, Wayne, Robert, Richard and Bonnie; and his 7 grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
