Richard "Lynn" Morgan, 82, of Iona, died Friday, July 8, 2016, at his home.  He was under the care of Avalon Hospice.

Lynn was born on November 4, 1933, in Rigby, Idaho, to Clifton and Velma Morgan. He grew up in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School in 1951.

On October 3, 1958, he married Sandra Camphouse, in Ucon, Idaho.  The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on May 24, 2012.

Lynn started work at the Bon Marche as an appliance repairman, and then at Bachmans Electric.  From there, he went to work for the BLM and then to the Federal Aviation Administration as an electronic maintenance technician.  He lived in Worland, Wy., St. Thomas, V. I., Caldwell and Boise, Id., and retired in Iona.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He loved to square dance, and was a member of the Eagles Club.

Lynn loved fishing, boating, water skiing, hunting, snowmobiling, and loved to ride 4-wheelers.  He enjoyed any outdoor activity.  He also loved to be around family.

Lynn is a wonderful example to everyone; a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by the following:
spouse, Sandra Morgan of Iona
son, Scott (Lisa) Morgan of Idaho Falls
brother, Eugene Morgan of Shelton
3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Morgan; daughter, Marie Morgan; grandson, Shawn Morgan; his parents and 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Idaho Kidney Institute and Avalon Home Health and Hospice for the great care that was given to Lynn.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Iona Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
