Ricky Alan Lang, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Hew as under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

He was born on October 6, 1957, and was lovingly adopted by Glenn and Doris Lang in 1958 in Akron, Ohio.

Rick graduated from Copley High School in 1976. He went on to pursue a career as a firefighter, dedicating 15 years of his life to serving the communities of Palm Beach and Martin County from 1982 to 1997. His bravery and commitment saved many lives and made a lasting impact on those around him.

After his retirement, Rick devoted himself to various passion projects, leveraging his charismatic and genuinely caring nature to build a vast network of friends across the country. From Florida to Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and beyond, Rick's friends remember him fondly for his kindness and willingness to help.

He is survived by his children, Stephen and Jessica, and his brother, Scott.

A memorial service will be held in Jackson, Wyoming, at a later date to celebrate and honor the wonderful life of Ricky Lang. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
