Rita Reneé Lundblade, 63, of Idaho Falls, died August 5, 2013, at her sister's home. Aspen Home Health and Hospice assisted the family in her care. She was born June 13, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Donald Warner Lundblade and Rayola Jones Lundblade. She spent her entire life in Idaho Falls and on the family ranch in Tetonia. Rita participated in a University of Utah educational study and received a Certificate of Excellence for her involvement. Rita was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending Special Needs Primary. She was involved in ARC Special Olympics, Developmental Workshop, Joshua D. Smith Foundation, and Fit and Fall Proof classes. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, parties, dancing and exercising. Rita is survived by her siblings: John (Lorie) Lundblade of Idaho Falls; Ron (Pat) Lundblade and Deloris (Jack) Poer both of Ammon, and 14 nieces and nephews and 44 and another-on-the-way great nieces and nephews, who all adored Rita. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Centennial Ward Building, 4459 John Adams (corner of John Adams & 45th East), with Bishop Chris Kunz officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday evening, August 9, 2013, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls, and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services.
