Robert Lake Simpson, 66, of Seeley Lake, Montana, formerly of Idaho Falls, died December 29, 2010 in Missoula, Montana. He was born April 9, 1944, in Idaho Falls to Alfred and Katherine Colby Simpson. He was raised in Idaho Falls. Throughout his life he lived in Idaho Falls, with his nephew Rolly Allen in Shelley, with his sister and brother-in-law Donna & Jerry for 15 years, Moses Lake, Washington; Montana and Arizona. He worked for the City of Idaho Falls, and many potato and labor houses in the area as well as sugar factories in Moses Lake. For the last 9 years he retired and just enjoyed the sun. He liked to fish and sit around in the sun, and he enjoyed gardening. Robert was a very loving and caring person to anyone he knew. Robert is survived by his brother, James (Mary) Simpson of Idaho Falls; and 4 sisters, Wynona (Victor, deceased) Elder of Idaho Falls, Adeline (Logan, deceased) Dutton of Idaho Falls, Donna (Jerry) Allen of Seeley Lake, Montana, and Nora Ann (Doug) Bracken of Summerville, South Carolina He was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2010, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6- 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2010 and one hour prior to the service both at the mortuary. Interment will take place in the Goshen Cemetery.
