He was born August 23, 1966 in Cheverly, Maryland to Diane Fairman and Robert Stock Jr. AT the age of 9 Rob and his family moved to the Bitteroot Valley of Montana where he was raised until age 18. He then moved to Idaho.

He married in 1994 and had one daughter, and was later divorced.

Rob was kind, intelligent, and had a witty sense of humor. He loved to be philosophical and have conversations with anyone who wished to debate him. He also loved to talk with his daughter and help her solve problems. He liked to read, listen to music, go to the mall, library, and feed the ducks by the river with his daughter. He loved Mickey Mouse and gold jewelry.

Rob was a wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. His mother would like to thank him for making her a mother, and for helping her figure things out with a minimum amount of stress or hair pulling.

He is survived by his daughter, Raini Nichole Stock of Idaho Falls; mother, Diane Fairman, of Montana; sister, Windi Diane Stock of American Falls, ID; brother, Joshua Peter Fairman-Cole of Montana; grandmother, Blanche Stock of Maryland; 2 aunts, Dinah Lynn and Lee; 4 nephews, Jacob John, Kyle Gary, Damon and Dylan; 5 cousins, and many other friends and relatives who loved him and who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert John Stock Jr. and his grandfather, Robert John Stock Sr.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Ucon Cemetery in Ucon, Idaho. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the services at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St.Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com
