Obituary

Robin Lynn Wallevand passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 16, 1965, at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, to Kenneth Wayne Wallevand and Betty Ann Edwards Wellevand.

Robin was born with Cri du Chat, a rare genetic condition caused by a small missing a piece of the 5th chromosome. Though she was nonverbal, Robin expressed her love in her own special ways—through her smile, her presence, and the simple joy she brought to those around her.

Throughout her life, Robin lived in Great Falls, Montana; Casper, Wyoming; Boise, Idaho; and, for the past forty years, Idaho Falls, Idaho. These communities became part of her story, as did the many people whose lives she touched.

For many years, Robin was cared for through Grand Teton Home Services. The family is deeply grateful for the dedication, patience, and love shown by those who supported her daily needs and helped her thrive.

Robin loved being on the go. She was happiest when she was active — greeting people with a warm handshake, listening to music, and spending time with her family. Her spirit was gentle, strong, and full of quiet strength. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Robin is survived by her loving parents, Kenneth and Betty Wallevand; and her sisters Debbie (Dana) Yost, Nicole (Boyd) Clyde, and Jodi (Derek) Price. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, and her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred and Christine Wallevand and Rex and Fay Edwards, as well as her nephew, Carson Thomas Clyde.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 25, 2025, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to www.coltrinmortuary.com.

Robin's life was a testament to pure love and simple joys. All who knew her will remember her bright presence and the way she made the world softer just by being in it.
