IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robyn Kay
Lee Evans
February 23, 1950 – October 16, 2006
Robyn was born February 23, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Walter S. and Donna Bateman Lee. She attended high school in Wheaton, Illinois, where she graduated in 1968. She later attended Ricks College in Rexburg, and it was here she met and later married Stephen George Evans. They were married twenty-five years and raised four children.
More than anything else, Robyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending ball games, dance lessons, school programs, and holding sleep overs whenever she was feeling up to it. Her family always came first, and many fond memories were created because of it.
Throughout her life, Robyn always had a cheerful, positive attitude and always put the needs of others ahead of her own needs. As an active member of the LDS Church, she found great joy in serving. She served as a Primary and Young Women's teacher, as a member of both the Primary and Young Women Presidency's, Ammon Stake Public Affairs Director, and in the ward library. Many will also remember her for her community service, especially serving dinner for those less fortunate every Thanksgiving. Many of her grandchildren learned about service by helping to serve and clean alongside their Grandma.
This amazing woman, whom we call Mother, Grandma, Daughter, Sister, and Friend, will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.
Robyn was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Joclynn J Mower.
Survivors include her children: Bobbette (John) Mower and children, Jason John, and Tyler Kirk all of Rigby; Justin (Shanon) Evans and children, Garrick Justin, Kaiden Randall, and Rylan Lee all of Idaho Falls; Whitney Evans of Idaho Falls; Nikola (Todd) Andersen and children Hailey Ranae, Carson Blake, and Parker Matthew all of Idaho Falls; parents, Walter S. and Donna Lee of Bountiful, Utah; siblings: Terry Clark, Kathy Hall, Scott Lee, Christy Hayes, Cindy Peterson, and Mark Lee.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006, at the Idaho Falls 20th Ward Chapel, 651 Gladstone with Bishop Lance Toone officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. In Idaho Falls and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
Robyn requested that memorial donations be made in memory of her granddaughter, Joclynn J Mower, to the Primary Children's Medical Center, P.O. Box 58249, Salt Lake City, UT 84158-0249; 801-588-3675.
