Ronald George Rose, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away at his home. He was born March 31, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to George William Rose and Deborah Myrtle Clegg Rose. He grew up in Dubois and graduated from Clark County High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Air Force. On August 1, 1964, he married Janice Mae Borchert in Bonneville County. They were later divorced. In 1984, he married Jeannie Ann Borchert. They were later divorced. Ron worked at Foreman Pump Service and for the INEL. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ron enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, going for drives, puzzles, reading Louis Lamoure books, music, and Elvis Presley. He is survived by his daughters: Patty (Mike) Pickett, Sindy Matheson and Thressa (Tony Burgess) Pannell all of Idaho Falls; Loretta (Ed) Passow of Tucson, Arizona; JuaNita (Frank) Quaderer of Amery, Wisconsin; and Deborah (Brett Nelson) Rose of Edmonds, Washington; a son, Elden (Amy) Rose of Thatcher, Utah; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sisters: Maralene, Dorothy, JuaNita and brother-in-laws: Lamar Peterson, Ralph Nye, and John Evans; grandsons: Jorge Dimas Jr. and Mark Moorefield Jr. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
