Rosalyn (Rose) Irene Nachtman White, 97, of Jackson, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Fairwinds Assisted Living in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Rose was born on March 1, 1926, in Chambers, Nebraska, to Fred Nachtman and Bessie Blake.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father: Bessie and Fred Nachtman; sister, Helen Stout; brothers: Frank and Bernard; one great-grandchild, Cole Baler; longtime friend and constant companion, Joe Bush; son-in-laws: Stan Barthel and Phil Engler.

She is survived by her children: LoyDean (Don) Barney, Carlene Barthel, Jerry (Sharon) White, and SnoAnn Engler; seven grandchildren: Brian (Ayn Nesbit) Barney, Bodie (Tara) Barney, Kindra Baler, Tyler (Laura) Barthel, Jamie (Dean) McIntyre, Cara (Josh) Rose, and Charlie (Ylse) Engler; Seven great-grandchildren: Macey Baler, Taylor, Autumn Barthel, Kashlyn McIntyre, Savana Wackerman, Clay Engler, and Luke Engler.

A celebration of life is planned to take place in the Summer of 2024. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at the Pioneer Homestead, 835 E. Hansen Ave., Jackson, Wyoming 83001.
