Obituary

Roscoe David Yeiter, 58, of Idaho Falls, died Monday, January 17, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born July 6, 1952, in Murray, Utah, to Roscoe Parkin Yeiter and Elizabeth Carlson Yeiter. He grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City. On April 22, 1978, he married Joyce Elaine Hansen in Salt Lake City. Roscoe worked as a manager for 5 years at Minute Lube and as a bus driver for school Districts 91 and 93 for the last 25 years. He loved the children on his bus routes. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and he loved animals. Roscoe was a great husband who had a fun sense of humor. He is survived by the following: spouse, Joyce Elaine Yeiter of Idaho Falls; mother-in-law, Bertha E. Hansen of Idaho Falls; a brother, Henry Dahse of San Bernadino, California; and several sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Henry Dahse Jr; and sisters: Eliza Jane Yeiter, Georgia Taylor, and Gussie Thayne. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. January 22, 2011 at the LDS Church at 3700 E. Lincoln Rd. in Idaho Falls with President Robert Peterson officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls.
