Rose Mary Palmer, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, at Teton Post Acute Rehabilitation.
Rose Mary was creative at an early age. She was editor of her school newspaper, an accomplished cook and seamstress, and played the saxophone for over 70 years. She loved horses, music, dancing, paper dolls (creating thousands of her own patterns), and Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies.
Rose Mary was an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She spent the last years of her life creating Pocket Crosses with a prayer that she distributed to her brothers and sisters in Christ.
She is proceeded in death by her parents: Charles David and Edna Bernice Miles; her sisters: Helen, Celia, and Joyce; and one brother, Charles David. She leaves behind three daughters: Cindy, Mary, and Iris; and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rose Mary will be remembered for her big loving heart and will be missed by many. A Rosary will be prayed for Rose Mary Friday, April 26, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1690 E 17th St, Idaho Falls, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. A graveside service and inurnment will be conducted after the mass at Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Arrangements are through Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
