Roseann Steen Faris, 77, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away at her home on August 26, 2024. Born on November 10, 1946, in Portland, Oregon, she was the daughter of Earl Lewis Clark and Louise Walton Clark.
Roseann grew up in Seattle, Washington, and Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Granada Hills High School and attended UCLA before relocating to Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1975.
Throughout her life, Roseann worked in various roles including server, bookkeeper, entrepreneur, and teacher. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She spent many years actively supporting people with disabilities through her service on the Idaho Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities and Idaho People First.
Roseann enjoyed reading, crafting, gardening, canning, and especially baking. Her home was often filled with the delicious aroma of fresh bread and pastries.
She is survived by her daughters: Wendy (Ryan) Moon of Stevensville, MT, and Julie DeGarlais of Idaho Falls, ID; sons: Clayton Steen (Nikki Tate) and Joshua Steen both of Idaho Falls, ID; brothers: Bob Clark of Tarifa, Spain, and Kevin Clark of San Jose, CA; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Roseann was preceded in death by her former husband, Clayton Roy Steen; her second husband, George Earl Faris; brothers: Don Walton "Wally" Pace and Edward Lewis Clark; sister, Dorisann Guinn; and granddaughters: Ambree DeGarlais and Kirsten DeGarlais.
The family will visit with friends and family on October 19, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family would like condolences submitted at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
