Obituary

Ruth Pincock Tremelling, 88, of Idaho Falls, died January 27, 2007, after lingering ailments from a stroke 10 years ago. She fought with as much strength as the Lord would let her.

Ruth was born on January 4, 1919, in Teton, Idaho to John Franklin Pincock and Susannah Blackford Pincock. She grew up in Canyon Creek, Teton, and Sugar City. She met her husband, Jesse Tremelling, at an Agricultural swimming party at Green Canyon (then called Pincock Hot Springs). They were married December 19, 1941, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. They have five children: Susan, Michael, Julie, Jeanne and Rebecca.

Ruth was an ambitious mother working for the School District 91, raising children and supporting her husband's farming career. Jesse and Ruth enjoyed building homes together. They built and lived in five homes in the Idaho Falls area. Ruth worked for Heyrend Construction for 18 years. She served on the Stake Primary board, in the Relief Society presidency and taught 15 years for the Sunday School and 20 years in the Primary.

Ruth was an avid vegetable and flower gardner. She enjoyed growing violets and making braided rugs to give away. Over the years she sewed many quilts with love that will be enjoyed for many years to come. She will always be known for her wonderful cooking and famous home made bread, which will be dearly missed. She had a wonderful way of making a beautifully decorated home.

She was well loved and will be missed.

Survivors include her daughters: Julie Tremelling, Redwood City, Calif., Jeanne ( Jack) Farnes, Shelley, Idaho, and Rebecca (Peter) Moyes, Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers: Paul Pincock, Shelley, Idaho and Grant Pincock, Salt Lake City, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Tremelling, son, Michael Tremelling, and daughter, Susan Joy Tremelling.
