Obituary

"Sam" Daynell Lamb, 45, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 20, 2014. She was born September 16, 1968, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Gordon Rudd. She was a graduate of I.S.U. with a Bachelor's degree, majoring in political science. She was a business owner, an accomplished journeyman, a proud volunteer at the Museum of Idaho, and a proactive supporter at the new kennel in Idaho Falls, as well as a staunch advocate for animal rights. Sam married Todd Lamb on June 28, 2000. Sam enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and landscaping. She loved flowers and animals. She is survived by her husband, Todd, and her cats: Josie, Monkey, Boots, Fussy and Percy. Her love of animals and desire to save as many strays will always be treasured. So to will the passions and care she showed to animals her whole life; her best moments were with Keida, Yoda, and all the others she took care of throughout the course of her life. Survivors include; Husband: Todd Lamb; Father: Gordon Rudd; Sons: Malachii and Jake; Sisters: Afton Bare, Tami (Brian) Harrison, Melody Evans, and Adrian Rudd; and a Brother: Kelly (Lisa) Holland. She was loved by family and friends and she will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at 390 Bridger, Ammon, Idaho.
