Sandra Kunz Martin, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on September 20, 1937, in Paris, Idaho to Leslie A. Kunz and Lillian Poulsen Kunz. She spent the first few years of her life in the Bear Lake Valley before moving to Pocatello, Idaho in 1941. Sandra graduated from Pocatello High School in 1955.

On November 25, 1955, she married Robert Wesley Martin in Pocatello. They moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1965, where Sandra was a homemaker and they raised their five children: Cindy, Mary Lou, Cheri, Robert, and Scott. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple for time and eternity on November 14, 1961.

Sandra was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and especially her grandchildren. Mom found great joy in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her "grand dogs". She was a very giving person and always put others before herself.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Martin of Idaho Falls; her daughters: Cindy (Kelly) Howell, Mary Lou (Ron) Barnes, and Cheri (Scott) Smith, all of Idaho Falls; her sons: Robert S. (Lindsey) Martin, and Scott L. (Dee Dee) Martin both of Idaho Falls; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lillian Kunz.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to www.coltrinmortuary.com .
