Sanjuana Galvan de Estrada, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Sanjuana was born on January 13, 1952, to Raphael Galvan and Josefina Garnica in San Felipe de Jesus, Guanajuato, Mexico. She grew up in Mexico City.

On May 19, 1968, she married Ismael Estrada Godinez. Ismael passed away on August 9, 2012.

Sanjuana enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and dancing. Her family and friends will remember her for being the life of the party and how she showed everyone her love through sharing amazing home-cooked meals.

She is survived by her daughters: Maribel Estrada and Erika Estrada both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her sons: Ismael Estrada and Saul Estrada both of Mexico City, Mexico; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ismael Estrada; her son, Gerardo Estrada; her daughters: Claudia Gabriela Estrada and Jeny Estrada; her father, Rafael Galvan; her mother, Josefina Garnica; and her brother, Enrique Galvan.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 905 S. Lee Ave., Idaho Falls. A rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, with a visitation until 7:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
