With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Son, Brother, and Uncle Scott D Fisher. He passed away on December 16, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Scott was born to parents Doyle and Karen (Sucher) Fisher of Idaho Falls, Idaho on April 17, 1968, in Idaho Falls. He attended Skyline High School, Ricks College, and ISU, where he got his degree to become a social worker. He married Billie Lind of Idaho Falls and had their son, Britton James Fisher. They later divorced; Scott remained a single parent who was very proud of his son. Scott was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and trapping, and was a true modern-day mountain man. He enjoyed sharing his love for the outdoors with his family as well as clients. Scott enjoyed philosophy, poetry, and ethics, and truly loved helping others. His lasting effect on all his clients and family will live on for many years to come.

Scott is survived by his son, Britton James Fisher; his mother, Karen Fisher; his sister, Melanie Mason, all of Idaho Falls; and his brother, Steve Fisher of Washougal, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle J Fisher.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Milo Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
