Shane Woolf, 49, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, lost his courageous fight with liver cancer on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, with his wife, children, other family members and friends by his side. Shane was born August 14, 1961, in Idaho Falls, to Darwin and Mary Woolf, who later divorced. He grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area. Shane loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, music, good food and spending time with friends and family. His joy for life was always expressed in his laughter and his humor. He loved to make people laugh and always had a carefree way of living his life. He owned his own business for the past 25 years, Shane Woolf Concrete. He started his business with just a few tools in the back of his truck and turned it into a reputable business. Shane is survived by his wife and soul mate of 26 years, Diane Woolf; six children: Jeremiah Woolf of Shasta Lake, California; Shantell (Bill) Crowson of Logan, Utah; Bridgette Woolf of Twin Falls, Idaho; Zachary Woolf of Idaho Falls; Michael (Angela) Woolf of Shelley; and Brittany Woolf of Idaho Falls; in-laws, Gary and Sharon Wells of Woodville, Idaho; his dad, Bill (Sheri) Hawley; brother, Stephen (Debbie) Woolf, and sister, Misty Hawley all of Idaho Falls and a sister Sondra (Larry) Witcher of Pocatello and 13 grandchildren. He has many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his biological father, Darwin Woolf and his mother, Mary Hawley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2011, at Coltrin Mortuary, and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Ammon Cemetery, under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary.
