Shawna Kay Christensen, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 9, 2022, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital in Idaho Falls.

Shawna was born June 14, 1955, to Robert C. Christensen and Golda C. Rapp Christensen in Idaho Falls. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School. Shawna lived most of her life in Idaho Falls and Roberts.

She loved all little children, especially her nieces and nephews. Shawna was a caring person and always worried about others that were in need. She had a quick wit about her that brought laughter to those around her. She had many obstacles that she faced on a daily basis but her love for her family was very special and strong. Rest in peace our dear sister.

Shawna is survived by her brothers: Richard (Delores) Christensen of Boise, Idaho, and Terry C. (Marsha) Christensen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her sisters: Debbie Christensen of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Candi (Craig) LePage of Idaho Falls, Idaho.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Golda Christensen; her grandparents: Marion and Ellen (Miller) Christensen, and Wallace and Louise (Ritter) Rapp.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street. Online condolences may be sent to www.coltrinmortuary.com .
