Sheila Ann McCormick, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Eden Hospice.

Sheila was born on June 14, 1943, in Enterprise, Oregon to Hurbert Andrew Smith and Bertha Wortman Smith. She attended Ukiah High School and graduated in 1962.

On April 10, 1982, she married Clyde "Mac" McCormick in Montana. Mac passed away on December 24, 2010.

Sheila spent her time in Oregon, Idaho, and Montana and then returned to Idaho where she passed away.

She spent her career swinging beef, driving trucks on the farm, and working in the Union in Washington. From 2001 to 2023 she was a manager at Antique Gallery Trackside Mall in Idaho Falls.

Sheila is survived by her daughter, Pam (Kyle) Winterbottom of Idaho Falls, Idaho; stepson, Breck McCormick of Shelley, Idaho; stepdaughters: Sam Humphries of Nampa, Idaho, Lisa (Dave) Ward of Dubois, Idaho, Colleen (Daniel) Shell of Hinesville, Georgia, Lanie (Ryan) Berrett of Roberts, Idaho, and Melanie McCormick of Florida; 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde McCormick; Georgie Twitchell, Mike McCormick, Floyd McCormick, and grandson, Dillon Schmitt.

A gathering will be held in from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Coltrin Mortuary. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
