She was born January 19, 1936, in Boise, Idaho. She was adopted by William and Lucille Georgeson when she was 16 days old. She grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1954.
On July 20, 1956, she married John F. Faerber in Idaho Falls. She worked for Idaho Wholesale and the engineering test reactor at the INEL.
She was a member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had served as a Relief Society and Primary President, in various teaching callings, and was involved in doing humanitarian service.
She was involved in Just Say No To Drugs Chapter, and Help Inc. working with abused children.
She taught herself to sew and became an accomplished seamstress. She loved writing and became a published author with her friend, Colleen Peterson.
Sherie was an amazing person who gave freely and loved her family very much; family was everything to her and everyone was her family.
She is survived by the following: husband, John F. Faerber of Idaho Falls son, Michael John Faerber of Idaho Falls daughter, Glenna Marie Berry of Idaho Falls son, William Lewis Faerber of Idaho Falls son, Steven Mark (Jackie) Faerber of Ammon daughter, Kristina Elaine (Tom) Harris of Boise son, Paul James (Kate) Faerber of Pleasant Grove, UT daughter, Lisa Anne Christensen of Idaho Falls daughter, Rebecca Lynn (Bryan) Heiner of West Jordan, UT 17 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, and a brother, Jack T. McNally.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007, at the Pioneer Ward Chapel, 2020 S. Charlotte Dr. with Bishop Anthony Passino officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the New Sweden cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the LDS Church's Humanitarian or Missionary Fund.
