Sheron Beth Rock, 85, of Ucon, Idaho passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Riverton, Utah with her loving family by her side.

Sheron was born on December 7, 1936, in Havre, Montana to Hobert and Bethene Richmond. She grew up in Chinook, Montana until she was 14, and then she moved to the Idaho Falls area.

On June 19, 1953, she married the love of her life, Brigham Clarence Rock Jr., in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in the Idaho Falls area until 1967, when they moved to Ucon, Idaho where they raised their 5 children.

Sheron enjoyed crocheting, Family History, and Indexing. She loved to visit with and make new friends everywhere she went. She was always friendly and kind and in turn, she was grateful for any kindness given to her and was sure to express her gratitude to the person that gave it to her. She made a point to remember many birthdays each year and showed that remembrance with a card.

She was a homemaker but also worked at Ray's In n Out, Valley Vending, and as a teacher's aide at Ucon Elementary School. She retired from the school in 1998 at the age of 62.

Sheron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Young Women President, Primary and Relief Society Secretary, Sunday School teacher, Compassionate Service leader, Librarian, and Historian, worked in the Food Pantry, and Temple Ordinance Worker.

She is survived by her sons: Ken (LaDawn) Rock of Thornton, Colorado and Bill (Michelle) Rock of Malta, Montana; her daughters: Barb (Jeff) Westfall of Idaho Falls, Idaho and FaNae (Ralph) Oakeson of Riverton, Utah; her half-sister, Merrimae (Sid) Solberg; two stepbrothers: Dewey (Vicky) Furness and William K. (Raymonda) Furness; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Brigham Clarence Rock Jr.; her father, Hobert Richmond; stepmother, Frankie Richmond; mother, Bethene Furness; stepfather, Floyd Furness; stepsister; Noreen Pincock; and her son, James C. Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Ucon Ward Building, 10854 N 41 ^st E, Ucon, Idaho. The family will meet with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
