Our hearts are heavy as we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, sister, and friend, Sherry Ann Deal, on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1963, in Bountiful, Utah, to Edward and Liliosa "Lillie" Bartell.

Sherry dedicated herself to the field of medical coding, earning an associate degree, but her true calling was caring for her cherished mother, Lillie. She found immense joy in raising her son, Joshua, and her love for her family knew no bounds. Sherry had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter into the lives of those around her, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her sweet and joyful spirit will be dearly missed.
Sherry is survived by her adoring son, Joshua; as well as her loving siblings: Bret (Cindy), Kenny (Jana), Curtis (Judy), David, and Colleen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward, and Lillie; her brothers: Tracy (Mary), Calvin, and Keith.

Sherry touched the lives of many, leaving behind beautiful memories and a legacy of love. Please join us in celebrating her remarkable life and bidding her a fond farewell.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 S 1700 E, Sandy, Utah. The visitation will be from 10:30-11:00 a.m., prior to services.

After the mass, a gathering will take place in the parish center of the church, where food will be provided. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery, 4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, at 2:00 p.m.

Cremation was under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
