She was born December 11, 1951 in San Bernadino County, California to Walter Oscar Colbert and Carol Elaine Simms. She was raised by her mother and father Lester Rickman. She grew up and attended schools in Southern California where she graduated from Chaffey High School in 1968.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, and being with her grandchildren. She was also a Christian.

She was a hardworking, caring, loving woman who is cherished by her family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her 4 sons; Cameron (Lisa) Rickman of Twenty-Nine Palms, California, James Mason (Barbara) of Idaho Falls, Joshua Mason of Idaho Falls, and Steven Brann Jr. (Jessica) of Twenty-Nine Palms, California; 2 daughters, Sherrell Mason-Newby (Christopher) of Idaho Falls, and Angela Brann of Twenty-Nine Palms, California.

She was preceded in death by her fathers Oscar Colbert, and Lester Rickman, and her sister Lianne Eubanks.

Memorial Services will be held at 2p.m. September 8, 2007 at her daughter's home, 426 Joan Ave. in Idaho Falls, with her son-in-law Christopher Newby officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com
