Shirley Florence Brown, 83, Idaho Falls resident, died Jan. 10, 2009, at Life Care Center in Ammon. She was born June 4, 1925, In Boonton, New Jersey, the daughter of Michael and Vera Wilson Cerchione. She grew up in New Jersey. She married Donald Roger Brown. He died May 18, 1997.

She was a wonderful mother.

Survivors include three daughters and three sons: Karol Cushenbery, Seattle, Ellen Brown, Portland, Stacey Beising, Idaho Falls, Roger Brown, Idaho Falls, Donald Brown, Hillsboro, Oregon, and Douglas Brown, Boise, Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Roger Brown; a daughter, Edith Flynn, and her parents, Mike and Vera Cerchione.
