Stanley Owen Davenport, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Stan was born on February 19, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Myron L. Davenport and Pearl Ina Ricks Davenport. He grew up in Woodville, Idaho, and attended Shelley High School, graduating in 1973. He went on to attend Votech in Idaho Falls and became a Rad-Tech.

He served as a private in the Army in the 1980s. On September 3, 1976, he married Telecia Ann Hammon in Idaho Falls. To this union, six children were born: David, Desire', Nicholas, Branden, Joshua, Brittney.

Stan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in Dusseldorf, Germany. He loved woodworking and Star Wars. His Motto was "Life Happens".

He is survived by his wife, Telecia Davenport of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughters: Desire' (Brandon) Pearce of Winchester, Kentucky and Brittney Eggleston of Twin Falls, Idaho; his sons: David Davenport of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Nicholas (Christina) Davenport of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Joshua (Casey) Davenport of Idaho Falls, Idaho; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Luanne Lance; and his son, Branden Davenport.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1200 Dunbar Dr., Idaho Falls, with Bishop Dave Wilding officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
